“Your support for West Texas coaches and athletes was truly outstanding,” said Joe Flores, the Foundation’s founder. “Seeing the tournament fully booked is a testament to the incredible impact we are making in the community.” The Foundation, through fundraising events like the golf tournament, has raised money for scholarships that have benefited over 100 student-athletes.
The Joby Flores 33 Lead Foundation, launched by Joe Flores, continues the mission of its namesake, Joby Flores, who was known for his unique passion for sports and his belief in their power to bring people together. Joby, who touched so many lives as a coach, father, and community member, was the embodiment of positivity and dedication. He believed that involvement in sports helped build character and joy, and he was relentless in his support of athletes and coaches.
Through its efforts, the Foundation has raised funds to provide scholarships for athletes and coaches, and to ensure Joby’s legacy lives on through acts of generosity and sportsmanship. Its mission is clear: to inspire communities by supporting high school athletes and coaches, providing scholarships, and advocating for the positive impact of sports on young lives.
With the success of this year’s golf tournament, the Foundation looks forward to even more participation in future events. The website, www.33lead.com, serves as a hub for sharing inspiring sports stories, showcasing the transformative work of the Foundation, and continuing to build meaningful relationships between the public, athletes, and coaches.
As the Foundation continues its work, it’s clear that the spirit of Joby Flores will always live on. The community’s support ensures that the next generation of athletes and coaches can achieve their dreams and carry forward the positive message of sportsmanship and community pride.
